Other than Counseling/Therapy, what else would a MSW allow me to do?

I'm considering getting an MSW because I want to work with children and families. I would like to work for CPS and I know that requires a degree in Social Work. I already have a BA in Psychology and would like to get a Masters in Social Work. What happens though if I decide I don't want to do that after a few years? What other jobs, besides counseling could I do? I might want to get my LCSW and do counseling, but maybe not. I'm so undecided and confused. Would I maybe be better off just getting a BSW?
