What is the best way to get into Masters in social work (MSW)?

I have a Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology and health studies. I was thinking about applying for post degree BSW but not many universities offer the program in Canada. (York, Waterloo and Windsor does, but I want something far from Toronto) Lakehead and Mcgill requires a high cumulative GPA which I don't have. I have pretty decent GPA for the last two years of university though. I want to eventually get into MSW. Now, there are MSW programs which don't require a BSW, however I need substantial work experience for that. I was wondering to get into an accelerated social work program in college right now and get a job in social services. Then later on down the road, apply for Masters. Does that sound right? or getting a social work college diploma is a bad idea? What's your experience? did anyone do (or thinking about doing) what I am about to do? Please let me know..
