Masters degree is social work...can I also...?

If I get a Master's degree is social work, I know I would be able to be a therapist but would that degree qualify me to be a high school counselor as well? I have already finished my bachelor's degree in psychology but can't make a decision on whether to go for a MSW or MSC and I don't want to make the wrong decision.
