Career advice please?

To give a little background info. I have a bachelor's degree in sociology and minor in psychology. I am taking a class for the non matriculated route for an MSW in grad school because my grades weren't too wonderful when I started out in undergrad school. I volunteer at the local VA hospital working with an LMSW. I don't like it that I work for a non-profit helping out people with Mental Retardation (technical term) for 9 dollars an hour. Problem is that I have been at the company for a little over 2 years and the work experience looks good on my resume for when I apply for a Grad school. Do I have other options that I can actually put my bachelor's to use and get another job that pays better? thanks!
